The
NATYA STEM Dance Kampni
Termed “strikingly original”, the Natya STEM (Space.
Time. Energy. Movement.) Dance Kampni has emerged as one of
India’s leading contemporary dance companies recognized
for its lyrical and dynamic performances. A dance vocabulary
that explores the limitless possibilities of the human form,
motifs of Indian movement disciplines, original music, experiments
with rhythm and interactive design, comes together to form STEM’s
signature style that’s richly on display in Sankalan.
Madhu Nataraj
STEM’s Director & choreographer, Madhu, a graduate
of the Natya Institute of Kathak and Choreography, has trained
in Kathak from her mother Smt Maya Rao, and from Smt. Chitra
Venugopal and Guru Munna Shuklaand in contemporary dance in
New York. Madhu performs, heads important panels & conducts
workshops at prestigious cultural centres at National and International
dance festivals around India, UK, UAE, Europe and USA. |
