CIF was launched in Bangalore, India in April, 2007. The objective of the foundation is to present traditional performing arts in contemporary style to attract the attention of the youth. We believe without active interest and support from the youth cultural heritage can not be preserved. The foundation will achieve its objectives by arranging unique and exclusive performances, work shops and interactions with the talented artists that excel in experimenting with the traditional artistic skills they have acquired. CIF has not bound itself to any specific nation, region or culture while defining its objective. However, the origin of the foundation in India with plenty of subjects and choices available in its colorful history and well developed music and dance makes it a natural starting point. In future the foundation will strive to establish its global reach and network.
